After careful consideration, Aurora Pride has decided that we’re going to hold a Pride Parade in Aurora on Sunday, June 12th, 2022.
We feel that because the event will be outdoors, that most of the population can be vaccinated, and that we can set rules for COVID safety for participants, we can make this a safe and fun experience.
However, we need your help to make the 2022 Aurora Pride Parade a reality.
Stay safe: We need you and your family and friends to be healthy!
Get vaccinated: If you’re not medically prohibited from getting vaccinated, please consider getting vaccinated and boosted. COVID-19 is worse than the vaccine’s side effects. The vaccine won’t just protect you, it will protect those you care about.
Mask up: Masks will help you stay safe, and protect those around you if you’re infected and don’t know it. Omicron is more transmissible, so use an N95, KN95, or KN94 if possible. If not, try filter inserts for cloth masks.
Volunteer: We’ll need your help to make this happen. Stay tuned.
